FYI, I've reached out to Ryan (Cincinnati Twins) and have not heard anything yet. For the integrity of this league (and I think it sucks that Texas got 4 of the first 5 picks because someone was skipped in the 1st round, but that's just me and Steve did absolutely NOTHING wrong, just a guy in the right place at the right time), I am NOT going to unlock Round 2 at the end of Round 1 if any team has been skipped and not picked (UNLESS the team has no more minors spots available to pick and then he'd be skipped anyway). That would only happen if a team has maxed out at 60 minor leaguers.
If I don't hear from any team and they've been skipped (12 hours have gone by on the clock) then at the end of the 1st round players will be assigned to those teams for the missed picks based on MLBPipeline.com's Draft Top 200 and the highest rated player(s) still on the board. I will do this at the end of each round if I have to. Parent Franchise Protection is after Round 2 anyway.
I cannot and will not have teams losing advantage in this league because of missed/skipped picks in the draft. Everyone has known for a long time that this begins on January 5th. It does every year.
If any owner is planning on not using their picks in this Minors draft then I need to know about it ASAP. Thanks.
