Guys, I have no problem if you're starting to list keepers on your Team Roster page, but I'm asking you to please follow a simple format. You have to also list the team's abbreviation (i.e. BOS), and you also have to list their salaries/contract years and count then against your cap. I've started my team page so take a peek so you understand what I'm looking for. diamondduos.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rosters&action=display&thread=10Also, you may list your Minor Leaguers however you'd like, as long as they're on your Team Roster page somewhere, in an organized fashion. I think I'm going to keep mine in a separate post but on the same page. Please also list the team affiliation next to the player's name. I'm asking for this next to Majors and Minors players because we're going to be signing Free Agents from other teams and bringing in players via trades from other teams. Your roster won't be made up of only players from your two naming franchises. Any questions, just post, PM, or email me. Scott

FYI On Cot's, some players show a significant drop off in their final year. This is not a salary, but the buyout for either a club or mutual option.
I think we are allowed to opt out of an option year this preseason at no penalty. If we later choose to opt out of a club option year, we have to pay the buyout as a cap hit.
For example, I put Matt Holliday's 2017 $17 million club option as 17(1)*.

Andrew,
Shouldn't the club option be non guaranteed all the way through? As an example you should be able to decide in 2017 whether or not to exercise the option on Holliday ( you'd want to see if his performance warrents the salary). If you choose to exercise the option it's at whatever his real life salary will be.
I'll also say I'm having a hard time understanding when it's a player option club option or the low salary is just factored into the contract.

Exactly. During the offseason following the 2016 season, I can either choose the 17 million option or pay the 1 million buy out. Alternatively, I could decide this preseason to cancel the option and I won't have to pay the buyout
