Our selection of first franchises looked like this: 1. Scott Greene selects Boston Red Sox 2. Andrew Appelbaum selects St. Louis Cardinals 3. Ben Mahon selects Washington Nationals 4. Taylor Baggett selects Atlanta Braves 5. Jake Sallblad selects Cincinnati Reds 6. Jake Backlund selects Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 7. Brett Hanthorn selects Detroit Tigers 8. Eric Davidson selects New York Yankees 9. Brett Chafin selects Los Angeles Dodgers 10. Chuck Schneider selects Philadelphia Phillies 11. Adam Schumann selects Tampa Bay Rays 12. Jimmy LaCugna selects Baltimore Orioles 13. Steve Le Blanc selects Texas Rangers 14. Jay Margolies selects Kansas City Royals 15. Sean White selects Toronto Blue Jays
Now the order to select our second franchise is:
The following draft order was randomly generated for your league: 1 - Eric (Yankees) 2 - Taylor (Braves) 3 - Andrew (Cardinals) 4 - Ben (Nationals) 5 - Scott (Red Sox) 6 - Steve (Rangers) 7 - Jimmy (Orioles) 8 - Jake S. (Reds) 9 - Chuck (Phillies) 10 - Brett (Dodgers) 11 - Hanny (Tigers) 12 - Adam (Rays) 13 - Sean (Blue Jays) 14 - Jake B. (Angels) 15 - Jay (Royals)
You must select a franchise in the opposite league as your first franchise. For example, Commish Greene has the Red Sox and must now select a National League franchise.

Great point! I didn't even think of that. If you're the next in line in one league, you can select even if there are others in front of you from the opposite league. So let's say 12-hours from the previous same league owner. Hope that makes sense. Thanks Andrew!

Check the Available Teams thread. I've kept it updated throughout this process. Yes, Andrew is correct. Those are the 7 franchises remaining.
Lucky fellas!

Which means our friend Royals Jay inherits the Marlins. K.C. Marlins or Miami Royals. Hmm, has a nice ring to it.
Down to Chuck (Phillies) and Brett (Dodgers). White Sox and Astros remain.

The Phillies will select the Astros. They believe it or not have a pretty nice talent in their minor leagues.

And not to take the fun away from Brett picking, but the dubious honor of securing the last franchise goes to Mr. Dodgers and he gets the White Sox! Maybe he'll be interested in my Addison Russell AFLAC autograph card from 2012 Bowman Draft Picks and Prospects.
**Note for posterity - Just realized I must have been thinking about Chisox's Addison Reed. Uber prospect Addison Russell is Oakland A's property, as he was their 1st round pick in the 2012 First Year Player Draft. -Scott 1/26/13
