KC trades away rights to franchise tag or RFA tag Matt Olson - 1B ATL

And rights to prospect, franchise or RFA tag Brady Singer - SP - KC

In return for Brewers 2025 FYPD picks 1 and all of picks 3 through 12.

These are two of four key free agents I have and I don’t see today near term salary room to keep all four plus play in free agency. These are two of the OTB players I posted yesterday and Tony reached out about Olson and singer. Over to you Tony.

To clarify Jeff will be obtaining my teams first round pick. I own some other teams pick but am keeping that and my second. Yep like Jeff said I have the cap space for a power bat like Olson. And I need pitcher and think singer can take it up a notch this season and he would do better with the picks than I can

As a point of clarification, a player cannot be traded and then Franchised. If a Franchise tag is intending to be used, Jeff would need to use his Franchise Tag on the player and then trade him. If not, Olson would need to an RFA and then Singer could be Prospect Tagged or RFA'd.

Tony please confirm whether it is still your intention to move forward.
