Good talks with Henry, as always.  I love the upside of the two i'm moving but i think i'm short a starter or two going into the season and Musgrove will team up with Alex Wood to give me a pretty solid 1-2 punch.

Cleveland agrees. Great quick and easy chats with Tony as always and given his interest in finding a premier SP this deal came together.

I’ve been keen on Musgrove this year given his consistent excellence the past 3 years notwithstanding some random bad luck, and love his ability to limit hard contact. But my team is not quite there yet so I’m still looking to build around youth and getting two toolsy young players with upside makes sense for the longer term. I hope Musgrove is a big factor for Tony’s title push this season, and also that his wide repertoire helps him age well for the Brewers over the coming years.
