Cleveland agrees. Not wanting to set any precedent or general expectation in this league, but it was just so darn quickly after our last trade that Trout was hurt in such an annoying way, something was needed to mitigate the situation.

Happy to return Kjerstad and hope he ends up being the player I think he can be for Houston’s Giants! And in the end I net traded down a couple of rounds and got Raya who looks like an interesting prospect, and the Nationals were well served, mainly we are sad for Mike.

Agreed. Very poor timing on the part of the Giants. But gracious that Henry and the Nats reached out to see what we could do. Hopefully quick recovery for Mike, and hey… maybe he can still join a contender later this year, once healthy.
