AJ Puk RP MIA; 23-26: $500K
Texas trades:
Emmanuel Rodriguez OF MIN (prospect)
David Bednar RP PIT; 23-25: $9M
Adam Frazier 2B/RF BAL; 23: $2.75M
Reasoning: Houston reached out to me on Marte, and from some previous trade discussions he knew I was interested in Emmanuel Rodriguez, so this one came together pretty quickly. E-Rod's trending a bit 3-true-outcomes-y and is K'ing almost 40% of the time, but he doesn't really have bad swinging strike rates. Weird season for him. I think he's basically just being too passive, and I'm willing to make the bet that he can become a difference-making OF w/ an approach change.
Bednar is a nice acquisition here too, and I'm hopeful he'll be flippable at his $9M number.
