Just to confirm:
The Texas Giants release Diego Castillo earlier this year. Contract was for $950K. We are paying him 25% (237,500$). Since Chicago has signed him to $800K, the Giants obligation has been reduced to 25% of $150K, correct?

Just double checked the Constitution:
"The previous owner is responsible in 2013 for $2M, the difference between the "old" $8M and the "new" $6M, not exceeding 25% of the old contract."

So my obligation on Diego will be reduced to $150K.
