In setting your Team Rosters and figuring out your Majors (up to 15 per franchise, up to 30 total) and your Minors (up to 25 per franchise, up to 50 total), please keep this in mind...
These are the threshold numbers for Minors eligibility. Many will overlook the third category (which is not used in all fantasy leagues but I feel strongly about it and has been in our Rules since Day 1):
130 At Bats 50 Innings Pitched OR 20 Pitching Apprearances
You may have a kid that only pitched 45 or 48 IP last year in his first year, but that might have been in 40+, possibly even 50+ games, depending on how he was utilized. That makes this player non-Minors eligible anymore. Please keep this in mind and check players stats if in question.

Good catch. I had two minor league keepers who have 20 appearances.

I still see multiple players on MiLB rosters that are above the limits. What happens if someone is left on without being caught??

We don't want any players on Minors lists that are ineligible. Everybody needs to check and double check that those players haven't reached 130 AB, 50 IP, or 20 pitching appearances in their career in the Majors. If the player's reached any of those thresholds, he can't be kept as a Minor leaguer and must either be dropped or moved to the Majors 40-man roster. If it's the year after reaching that threshold he'll be at $500,000 league minimum salary.

I would say if you see those things, go ahead and message the owner or make a post of the ineligible guys so that we can go ahead and rectify it before it gets out of hand. This league is complex, so we all need to be vigilant about checking ourselves and checking on one another.

One that I noticed is Jacob Turner of the Marlins is not prospect eligible.

Fantrax is snitchy too. As soon as we input players, you'll see a violation if a guy you put in Minors isn't eligible there. Andrew pointed that out to me this morning with Boxberger!

So when this mistake is found are we allowed to replace them with new minor leaguers or do we just lose those prospect spots?

We're all getting geared up for the league and are flexible on this. As long as we find them now before FA bidding begins. You can transfer them to your Majors 40-man if you have spots open for them (remember 15 max keepers per franchise) and replace Minors spots with new prospects. Or you drop them and can still replace with other minor leaguers. No, you don't lose those spots now - this week.
If we find any discrepancies next week after the FA bidding begins Monday night, then I'd say those spots will be lost. Everyone should be checking and double checking all of these ABs, IP, and appearances. Actually, once once the players are inputted into Fantrax, that site will let you know if there's a violation or not.

I'm dropping Chris Denorfia to make room on my 40-man for Brad Boxberger.
Replacing Boxberger's minors spot with OF Reymond Fuentes.

Hey Jake, in counting your Reds keepers on your Team Roster page, it looks like you only have 14 including Cozart. You could just add Hoover to the Red majors keepers and he'd be the 15th - unless I'm counting incorrectly.
Please double check this. If this is the case, and you wouldn't have needed to drop Cozart, then you can still make a trade with him.
FYI - in season, any post on the board here about dropping a player, either for an outright release or in order to make room for another player, will stand as final.
