Rick and I had designs on making this a bigger trade, but couldn't get the pieces to fit. I may regret selling low on Boyd, but my roster is too full and I wanted to have a little salary space to play with. I get a pitching prospect in Marsh that I expect to make a big jump this year. Nice discussions with Rick to get a deal done.

Like Drew said, we were trying to put together a larger deal, but it wasn't to be, instead I get another arm for my pitching staff and a prospect I really like.

Working out a deal with Drew is always a fun back and forth dialogue, where we seem to finally reach a deal that works for both of us.
