     Gavin Lux, 2B (LAD) - '21-'24: $0.5M
     Brandon Belt, 1B (SFG) - '21: $1.5M
     Adam Kloffenstein, P (TOR) - prospect
to the NY Diamondbacks for:
     2021 Minors Draft pick 1.02

DEVIL RAYS LOGIC: There are two guys I really like in this draft and this ensures that I get them both. Lux has definitely lost a little bit of his shine and I'm not sure if the Dodgers still belive in him. Huge fan of Kloffenstein, but he's still a bit away. Belt was great in the shortened season and, personally, I hope he continues to rake. I think that I am selling him when he has the most value and was worth the cost to get to 1.02. Great working with Chris on this and I hope his new guys work out well for him!

My logic is pretty straightforward. I am (perhaps naively) hoping to compete for a title this year, so having Lux provides near term value, rather than a pick. Lux was a top prospect just a year ago. He had a rough 2020, but I could really only hope that 1.02 turned into a top 5 prospect like Lux down the road. So a bit of a buy low opportunity for me. Belt could also potentially be a useful CI option and Kloffenstein has some upside.
