I am really not a fan of the "Quality Start" stat.
-The reason I don't like this statistic is that many of the younger players in today's MLB game are on a set pitch count for the first couple of years. Here is an example of a player who did not qualify for a "Quality Start":
Joey Lucchesi - SP- Padres
Here are 6 starts from this player
1) 3/29 - 5.1 iP - 0 runs - ERA-0.00 2) 4/3 - 5 IP - 0 runs - ERA - 0.00 3) 4/21 - 5.2 IP - 1 run - ERA - 1.688 4) 5/11 - 5.1 IP - 1 run - ERA - 1.688 5) 6/30 - 5.1 IP - 2 runs - ERA 3.377 6) 7/13 - 5 IP - 2 runs - ERA - 3.60
- That is 6 pretty impressive starts with nothing to show in the Quality Start department.
-Who agrees with me ?

I actually dislike wins and Quality Starts. With all of the Analytic quantifiers out there today, there is got to be a better way to assess pitching in Fantasy Baseball.
