Orioles receive:
Khris Davis 19: 15M; 20: 15M; 21: 15M Tyler Glasnow 19: 0.5M; 20: 0.5M; 21: 0.5M Blake Treinen 19: 12M; 20: 12M; 21: 12M Taylor Trammell (prospect)
Nationals receive:
Lucas Giolito 19: 0.5M; 20: 0.5M Tommy Pham 19: 25.2M; 20: 25.2M; 21: 10.8M; 20: 10.8M Zach Britton 19: 8.5M; 20: 8.5M Josh Lowe (prospect)
It's very sad that from today I won't have Trammell anymore given I'd resisted many attempts to acquire him in the past, but competition is tough this year and my top priority is to avoid missing out narrowly again. Hopefully Giolito can be a stud for me. Pham and Britton match my category needs well, and Lowe is a solid prospect. Great chatting through options with Brodie as ever, and hope that Khrush, Glasnow and Treinen can be big pieces in 2020 and beyond, and of course will try not to be too upset when watching Trammell on/round the bases!

This was a tough deal to pull the trigger on but ultimately came to this deal after some negotiations. I was very hesitant to move on Gio as he looks like he finally figured it out.
Davis fits the power need of my team a bit better then Pham at a lower cost and trammel should fill in the holes left that Pham provides starting hopefully as soon as next year.
Glasnow really looked like he figured it out before he got hurt and Treinen was a top closer before he got hurt. both guys now have some injury question marks but if can regain the magic will ultimately determine the success of this deal. Ive seen what closers go for in FA and on the trade market so buying low and getting creative made some sense for me.
ultimately I think this deal works out for both parties. Henry gets an Ace, an upgrade at OF and some holds and doesn't have to give much up for this years squad. I get what is hopefully a replacement for Gio with an added year of control, some power and a young stud OF for my squad and potentially a top closer.
I wish henry well in his quest to the ship.
