when drew asked me for a deal for kershaw we expanded it to include arenado since i was looking for prospects.  figure mejia and feliciano can man my catcher spot for years.   like ramos and the jazzman alot and think theyll both continue to develop.  kaprellian is almost back to health and can bolster the staff.   good talks with drew.

Agree. I was hoping to be able to hold off a little longer before making a move, but Henry and Houston forced my hand. Kershaw isn't what he once was, but I'm hopeful that he can get me some wins over the next couple years with solid ratios. I give up a lot of prospect talent here, but that's the cost of acquiring premium pieces. Upton and Bradley are salary swaps, though ones that could still potentially provide value. Great negotiations with Tony!
