Colorado trades: Alex Wood, P (CIN) - '19: $5M to the Texas Giants for: Clint Frazier, OF (NYY) - '19: $9M, '20: $7M, '21: $5M
COLORADO LOGIC: I don't see Wood working into my future plans, so moving him for Frazier was a good deal for me. With regular at-bats, Frazier has the ability to live up tp his top prospect potential. The Yankees acquisition of Encarnacion potentially makes Frazier expendable in the Yankees quest for SP. That should benefit both him and me. Quick and easy negotiations with Houston.

Agree with everything said above. But my outfield is in lock and worth taking a flier on Wood for the second half of the year. Work a prospect tag or at least RFA after a solid half. Frazier is a good player, but I think a year or so a way from regular ABs I signed him to a weird contract, partially expecting him to win a spot starting for a lackluster Yankees team this year... didn’t exactly work out that way, this gives me a couple extra million to play with in 2019
