Reasoning: Orioles were looking to free up some roster spaces for free agency, I used the opportunity to pick up multiple years of control of flexible young players and as well as a pitching prospect. Also got a backup catcher in case my young ones don’t produce this year. Easy deal all around.

I feel like I gave up alot here but this trade solves a few problems on my roster. My team had alot of cap space with not alot of spots to fill them. with still some players I really like it was good to clear up a few spots. I also need to make space for Kikuchi and Vladdy Jr. My team is at a point where I cannot wait for some of these players to get their chance to perform; I need players that are performing now. I feel like i get the two best players in this deal although not by a wide margin. it is nice to get a bit of quality over quantity here.

my team really lacks speed so Zimmer is a nice fit with some pop in the bat as well.

Odor is someone I hope has a bit of a comeback year. I have no one that is prospect tag eligible so Odor is a good candidate for that.
