Colorado and Texas have agreed to the following trade:
Colorado sends: 2020 4th round draft pick to Texas for: 2019 Draft pick 9.13 Tyler Nevin, 1B (COL) - Prospect Heath Quinn, OF (SFG) - Prospect Logan Morrison, 1B (MIN) - '19: $7.5M, '20: $17.5M, '21: $17.5M Kendrys Morales, UT (TOR) - '19: $11M, '20: $15M
COLORADO LOGIC: What started as a conversation about draft picks turned into a salary dump for Houston. I have the cap space to take on the contracts and adding both MLB players allowed me to gain two prospects that I am high on. This helps both teams as I am able to get back into the draft in the later rounds as well as adding proven prospects. Houston gets much-needed salary relief and an addition high-round pick next year. Smooth negotiations with Houston. Hope this deal works out well for both of us!

Agreed. When Brandon inquired about a draft pick, I knew I had a few picks to work with and wanted to dump some salary. It was a plus to swap picks with him, moving me higher next year. While giving up a few mid-level prospects who won’t contribute until 2020 or beyond. Easy working with Brandon!
