The Mets make this trade to acquire another young piece that is close to the Majors.  While not a Pirates fan, writing about them may mean I like Newman a little bit more than most, but I feel he is a potential starter up the middle for Pittsburgh in the very new future.  Watson and Rich Hill really carry similar value and despite my current spot in the standings, I didn't really intend to be competitive this year, so I believe the pen arm is more replaceable than a starter if Hill can manage to stay healthy.  Thanks for the nice easy deal and good luck!
