NOTHING
Reason for Trade: Looking to move some small 1 year salaries to give me some extra flexibility. Nothing coming back from Met's because the the advantage to me is the salary relief hence the 6th rd pick. Pleasure doing business with Ryan as always. Easy talks.

Before Ryan even responds with his comments and reasoning...
We do not want to set any precedent with trades that have nothing going back to one team. Drew, Brent and I have already spoken about this and there needs to be at least something going back to Steve. It can be a 12th round minor-league pick 3 years from now or even a minor league kid who may never make the majors but there has to be something.

Mets confirm. The trade is a simple draft upgrade for me. I have la good bit of cap space that I know I’m not going to use so moving up 6 rounds to more than likely release a few guys makes sense for me.
