Not a terribly exciting trade, but I want to compete again this year and I desperately need pitching depth. This was a low cost way to get a couple of young, cheap guys who...if you squint hard...could be back end fantasy starters. Treinen will also help me compete for this year. I like Hernandez and Hilliard, but think the trade makes sense for both sides.

Yup Agreed, I was trying to trim my roster a bit. Like Chris said none of these guys are real superstars but I like Hernandez and excited to see what he has to offer with a full season in Toronto.

I was hesitant to give up Treinin but he is a fringe closer at best. And the way Closers are volatile I figured It was a good move to accomplish what I wanted.
