Wow. Reason for the deal - Trout .....any publication would list him as the number one dynasty player in the game. It’s a staggering price I paid but this deal did 3 things. I got the best player I gained financial flexibility and I picked up another closer. Really sad I won’t own Albies and Moncada but my time to compete is now and this helps me do it. Tough negotiations I’m sure Ryan will be on the road to competing in no time.

Well...trading the best player in the game isn’t easy. I’ve learned in fantasy that nobody should ever be untouchable because I don’t have fan favorites, or even fans to answer to, so if a trade makes me team better it shouldn’t matter who gets moved.

I think this is the ultimate test of that theory. Obviously nobody is better than Trout, but I think even assuming all the risk that I’ll be better in the long run. Ultimately the fact that I can likely control Moncada for 9 years is what pushed me over the top. Thanks for continuing to work on it with me and good luck!
