In efforts to upgrade my closer situation for next year I have decided to send

I know I'm sending quality ML players when I am going to make another run at Cleveland, but needed to fill a closer role on my team. While I hope Knebel retains the job; I also pick up a couple of "used to be" top prospects in hopes that I find a diamond in the rough. Easy negotiations with Brandon and he will confirm shortly.

I am super high on Forrest Whitley and am in love with adding him to Kopech. I think they can be two outstanding pitchers for years to come. Kepler gives me good stability in the OF and could even be considered an upgrade over some of my existing outfielders. Nelson could be out for an extended period, but I like the ability to resign him going forward and draft picks are always nice.

Kapreillian has missed the last two seasons due to surgery and, while he could bounce back, could be considered a long-term injury risk. Puk throws strikes, but could end up as nothing more than a bullpen piece. Knebel turned into a great closer and I'm not sure I could be selling any higher on him than I am now. I will most likely not be a contender for the next couple of seasons, so adding young cost-controlled players was essential.

Always fun working with Jon and this was no exception.
