If I demote a player to the minor leagues after the "Trade Deadline" and he passes through waivers without a claim, should that player be aloud to be traded ? I know this is not in the rules right now, but should we consider this for next year as a rule change ? Just a thought.

It could go up for discussion. Then you're adding in a waiver trade deadline aspect to this league which we don't have. My preference as Commish in these Diamond Duos leagues is to have ONE trade deadline for the season, like we do on August 7th, and that's it. No trades after that until the regular season ends and the league standings are finalized. Then trading opens right back up.
What do others think? I really don't want to add too many layers.

I can see both sides. I like the idea of pure simplicity; one deadline, but damn if this isn't a novel idea. Until the novelty wears off. Maybe have a waiver deadline of 8/31/17 before rosters expand?
