KC Marlins reasoning.  I wanted to bring in some talent to the MLB level and it came at the expense of some good prospects. LF and stolen bases were an area that I could use an upgrade and since I won't be competitive, I can wait out the Marte suspension.  I like Andujar and Holmes coming back my way as well. 

Good luck to Brodie who got a nice influx of prospects in the deal.  Hopefully its a win-win, but as with any deal only time will tell.

I was approached for Marte, after some thought I figured by the time I will be competitive these players will be on the downswing and with the salary needed to keep Marte I figured it was worth it to load up on some more prospects.

Im getting who I hope is a stud 3B and another homer pick in Vlad. also load up on some pitching as well as another top round pick.
toughest part of this deal was to give up on Andujar as I really believe in him but if Vlad is what he is expected I should be OK.
