Pitt Trades: Robbie Ray 17:$0.5M 18:0.5M 19:0.5M For 1) Josh Lowe - 3B/OF - Prospect 2) Miguel Andujar3B NYY- Prospect 3) 1st Round 2018 minor league selection 4) Adrian Morejon- SP - Padres For me this was a deal that was cashing in on a breakout season for Robbie Ray. I am not competing this year and figured it was a good thing to get as much for him while he is pitching outstanding. I got 3 players I am high on and a first round draft pick to build my future.

I agree. I am going "All in" this year and need a quality arm like Ray to help out my pitching staff. Giving up the prospects is always tough, but I think it is the right decision at this time for my team. It has been a pleasure dealing with Brodie once again. I hope this trade works out for both teams.

This trade has been processed but Ray is in Philly's Minors because there are already 40 men on the roster. A spot has to be opened for Ray ASAP. Also, Pittsburgh needs to open Minors spots for Morejon and Lowe. Thanks.
