In need of a 2B since Kipnis is a no go for opening day I have decided to send
Jaycob Brugman (prospect)
to
Col/TB
for
Gennett, Scooter 2017 =$500,000
Again, giving up OF prospect depth to get a stop gap until Kipnis is ready

Devil Rays agree.
Gennett probably won't get much playing time with Villar moving to 2B full-time. That being said, he still has the potential to provide decent numbers when he is in the lineup. Brugman has the ability to play all three outfield positions and should be one of the fist in-line for a callup this season. Smooth and easy working with Jon.
