Hey Guys,
Thought I would get some of your input on my keepers. Im in a 5X5 Roto league with OBP instead of average. Auction league where we can keep up to 3 players. we have a standard $260 dollar budget.
My first two are no brainers Noah Synergaard and Lindor for $7 each
My third Im having a bit of a dilemma. My choices are: Altuve $42 (pretty close to par value) Joc Pederson $4 Khris Davis $4
Should I lock in by top tier talent or take the value with one of the outfielders?
Any input is greatly appreciated!

Also have Colome and Familia at 6 and 7 dollars respectively. Decisions...Decisions...

Familia still could get suspended, I live here in Tampa and rumors are rampant about a Colome to Washington trade, I see Joc taking a step forward and his OBP is awesome; I'd go with Joc

Thanks Jon,
If it wasn't for the suspension it would be Familia in a heartbeat. but I hate losing guys when I know injuries will happen anyways. also a very small bench is hard to keep a guy like that.
For me Im really battling between Joc and Colome. You would think a trade to Washington would help Colome? Better team, more save chances.
But in an OBP 5 OF league Joc seems like an awesome bet.

I can understand where you go with Pederson or another OF for small $$, but when you have a chance to keep one of the Top 3 or 5 players in all of fantasy baseball, you do that. In my book.
Keep Altuve at $42. Then maybe let him go next year assuming there's some sort of inflation.

I've thought long and hard about this one...Everyone I ask seems to have a different opinion. I guess that means its a pretty touch choice. I have some concerns that the SB will keep up and Altuve loses some value in an OBP league. He still has a great OBP but its not over and above everyone like in an Average league. My thinking of letting Altuve go and grabbing the value of Joc lets me jump in on one of the $40+ players that I like a bit more (Goldy, Arenado, Trout, Donaldson) with the added value I can reach on these players a bit more than in a redraft. And who knows if Altuve is out there for $42 bucks I don't mind jumping in and technically get 4 keepers.

It depends on who your league mates are keeping. If your going to be able to snag another top 10 player with that $42 saved on Altuve then I agree I'd go pederson. If most owners are keeping their top guys then keeping Altuve should be a priority

The only top round talent being kept is Betts. Still a shot at getting a Arenado/Altuve etc with those dollars. Ideally with the savings I would like to grab one of the top 3B and top 1B as I feel those positions dry up fairly quick.

I think its also worth noting that I will have the most dollars in the draft allowing me to go after some of the top tier talent.
