I confirm. I think this is a trade that really puts my pitching staff on another level with the potential to match any offer for Chris Sale. I know it's gonna make my salary cap go up and I'm fine with that because I'm in it to win it this season and the potential chance to win a championship is too good to pass up right now. Losing these guys hurts me for future seasons but it helps with my chance to put a championship team together for this season.

I agree to this deal. With $30M in cap space and a lot of spots to fill, I have been wavering about whether or not to match the high Sale offer, and I was thinking I would for anything less than $25M AAS with the chance to restructure. But I still like my pitching staff to compete with Cueto, Hendricks, and company. So now I get a potential 20/20 OF (at league minimum) and two very good prospects that could be in the Majors soon. I think a win-win deal for both St. Louis and me. Good luck Ace. Now we need to make a side bet on who finishes higher in the standings!
