Post your minors claims for June in this thread. One claim per month, per owner. Maximum minors roster is 60 and you cannot claim a player if you're already at 60 unless you open a roster spot.

Jumping on the bandwagon I guess. Not sure why I missed the boat. Since he's been scooped up in all other DD leagues,

Yea, I might regret not also using my claim here for him. For both of our sakes, I'll hope the breakout is real.

Just for clarification, is this thread to claim someone who is currently in the minors or is it anyone who has not met the minimums (IP/AB) even if the are currently in the bigs? I couldn't find it in the constitution, but I'm sure I missed it.

It is the 2nd one (under minimum IP/AB). Anyone who is still prospect-eligible by our definition can be claimed as a minor leaguer. The only conflict comes if, for example, someone had submitted a major league offer for Slater via blind bid before the minor league claim.

And remember, these once per month allowed claims are for players who have been signed to an organization prior to this 2017 season beginning. You cannot freely claim any player who was just drafted this month in the MLB Draft or anyone who may have been or will be a new International signee.

OK, Brandon obviously had this in mind when he asked his question, and my example on Slater rings true here. Brandon had submitted a FA bid for Slater on 6/21 at 10:15 AM. That offer preceded J's claim here, so Slater is awarded to the Rays at the offered contract of 3 years, 2.7M
