Another move to make me more competitive in 2017. I had a gaping hole at 3B and needed to make a move. Beltre is obviously getting up there, but should have another good year or two in him. Grabbing Lance Lynn was a nice flier - he has been a strong fantasy contributor in the past and looks to be fully recovered from TJ surgery. It was a throw-in that might provide some value this year. The prospects were all throw-ins to clear space on J's roster. Gio was a salary dump. I hate to lose Tomas, but I have lots of power already in my lineup and lots of OF depth - him losing 3B eligibility hurt him. Tate has some upside but is still a few years away and might find himself in the bullpen.
