It is probably fair to say I was the one badgering Scott about releasing minors during the draft to make room for picks.
I think this should be the policy going forward and is a consistent practice with every other transaction we do to keep the league competitive. The dropped players would be MiLB eligible and be available to be re-drafted. I doubt the released players would be worth much considering they would be at the end of the 60 man minors roster of the dropping team, but like they say, one mans trash is another's treasure.
It may only affect a few people throughout the course of the dynasty, but again, I feel it would be consistent with other means of adding and dropping players. Afterall, any other transaction is not restricted during the draft so why would we support not being allowed to release a MiLB?

I understand your point but the problem is someone like me who did the opposite and dropped more players than I had to then made trades that opened up even more spots. Had I known that I wouldn't have released as many players as I did. I wouldn't mind having some of those guys back. They aren't stars or anything but one great season by a prospect can completely change his value

I disagree with being allowed to drop players now that the draft has begun. Can't change the rules on the fly like that. If its something everyone is interested in, we can revisit for next year.
Just my opinion.
