I'm a big fan of Gary Sanchez, and whilst I'm sure the league will adjust to him, you've got to expect excellent points at a generally tricky position. Nola could well get injured but he also could be useful. Of course I'm giving up a group of young guys (including Giolito who I have been hoarding) who have quite a bit of upside but that's necessary for a centerpiece like Sanchez.

Considering I am calling myself the Chicago White Sox of this fantasy league it i fitting I acquired Giolito.
The reason for doing this deal for me is quite simple....pitching depth. this is a huge weakness for me that I feel I have taken care of in this trade.
for me this trade breaks down as Gio for Nola (I feel that they are similar in value but with Gio having the much higher upside)
and Sanchez for Conley, holmes and Diaz. which i feel is a good return. In regards to Sanchez Feel that I am selling at the highest his value will ever be. He will always provide some power at a premium position but I definitely see some regression on his production. I also feel that I am buying low on Gio given his struggles last year. The two catchers are nothing more than throw ins for this trade. Wolters can fill the catcher spot left by Sanchez but I think severino can be a productive fantasy catcher in a 2 Catcher league moving forward.
