Colorado perspective: I see the deal in 2 parts. Part 1) Salary, salary, salary. I get to hand off Arrieta's contract and land one of the top pitching prospects in all of baseball. No doubt Arrieta is nice, but I am trying to build for the future as well as compete in the now. Added Fiers as some salary offset for the Brewers, but he still has potential to be a decent level starter. Part 2) Robbie Ray has a boatload of potential and I was able to flip that into a a starting 2B and two more high floor prospects. Thanks to Jon for smooth and easy negotiations.
