Michael Gettys SD - prospect

Detroit sends:
Steven Wright BOS 17:$0.6M
James Shields CWS 17:$2.5M

Trying to add some depth to my starting rotation in 2017. Wright was an All Star and if he comes close to that in 2017 I'll be very happy. Shields is a gamble but not too expensive as Jon gobbled him up cheaply as an In-Season FA signing last year after another club released him. I give up a guy who should be Cincy's closer with a great young arm, a young Atlanta speedster who's going into the first of 4 league minimum salary years, and a nice hitting San Diego prospect.

Another needs trade. I have sooooo many SP's I needed to clear some space and take a chance that I can pick up a closer and always in need of some steals. Getting a good ceiling prospect helps as well. I hope it works out for us both. Confirmed.
