I'd like to propose that we expand our Minors rosters to a maximum of 80 prospects. This allows us to 1) utilize more picks in our annual Minors Draft based on how many rosters spots are open, 2) continue to claim players once per month in season (will be on the board moving forward, not via blind email), and 3) allow for possible additional spots needed for outrighting 40-man MLB players in-season.
Most importantly, it gives us all a reason to study up and get to know even more of our deep prospects, some of which maybe we'll see at the Futures Game in July at our Diamond Duos leagues ASG weekend getaway in Miami!
As with previous Diamond Duos polls we need to see a 2/3 majority (at least 10 out of 15) in order for a proposed change to pass.

I voted no and I'm willing to say why.
1. I hate rule changes mid stream.
2. I'm sure plenty of teams of had to release prospects they didn't want to during other seasons. This forces teams to make tough choices. I know I'll have to release prospects I don't want to but that's part of the challenge
3. It punishes the newer teams that have joined the league recently by giving them less options

I also voted no and basically for the same reason. It seems the majority of the teams are well under 60 as it is, so adding more really only benefits a few.

I voted no as well. I just don't see any need. Like the guys said, forces you to make tough choices and manage your roster actively.

I don't have any problem with expanding the rosters. I think it helps with taking chances on younger players out of High School & the International markets. The wait time could be anywhere from 4 to 6 years.
