I'd like to propose that we do away with the 20 pitching appearances and keep it simple with 130 AB for hitters and 50 IP for pitchers. This would also give our teams a bit more flexibility in keeping players in our farm longer if needed. This would be effective now, going into the 2017 season.
As with previous Diamond Duos polls we need to see a 2/3 majority (at least 10 out of 15) in order for a proposed change to pass.

I don't see why not on this one. Essentially allows you to keep relievers in your minors until they are actually relevant. I think that's a win for everyone.

If a player has reached 20 appearances as of the end of the 2016 season, can he still remain in the minors at the start of 2017 ?

Yes he could have, but now we're 2 1/2 months into the season so not sure how this applies now.
