After lengthy discussions, Phil and I have come to a trade agreement. Believe it or not, this is the small version of this trade. I get some pieces for the present, while Phil gets his wagon full of prospects. This also helps me squeeze back under my salary cap (barely).

Dodgers trade:
Steve Pearce 16: 500K
Yasiel Puig 16: $500k 17: $500k
Addison Reed 16:$2M, 17: $3M

Jays trade:
Luke Gregerson 16: 4M
Billy Hamilton 16: 500K, 17: 500K, 18: 500K

Marcos Molina, NYM

Agreed. Yet another crosstown trade between the Chicago clubs.

As Drew said, we went back and forth for about a week on this one. Makes sens for me as I am rebuilding, and I get Hamilton for an extra year over Puig on a $500k contract to see if he can develop into a usable major league player (someone should put him in touch with Juan Pierre). If one of these post-TJS prospects pan out I'll be happy. If more than one pans out I'll be ecstatic.
