Braves/Jays Trade

Jason and I have come to an agreement between a contender and a rebuilding team. Prospects (and salary relief) for present-day pieces. I get an outfield upgrade in Fowler and a starter who I am hoping is in the midst of a breakout. Jason gets more prospects for his rebuild (his farm system is redick).

Braves trade:
Dexter Fowler 16-18: 8M
Mike Foltynewicz 16-19: 500K


to Blue Jays for:
Nick Markakis 16: 4.5M
Prospects: Josh Ockimey, Anderson Franco, and Reynaldo Lopez.

I agree.

Not sure when I will be able to win but at this point, there is no sense in holding onto guys at the MLB level while I am losing. The more depth, the better.

This move puts Seattle at 63 Minors and he needs to open 3 roster spots ASAP (hopefully within 72 hours). Also puts Chicago over cap which needs to be addressed. Both rosters are illegal going into next scoring period.
