Miami 2017 - a Billy Joel song, right? OK since I went to Cincinnati last July for the weekend and hit the Futures Game, Legends & Celebrity Softball Game, FanFest and a great couple nights in the city, I have withdrawal not being in San Diego this year.
I've already mentioned this before to a few guys but now I'm serious. Who's in for next year in Miami? I'm likely doing this instead of Spring Training next year. At least Saturday and Sunday nights but maybe 3. If we could get tickets for Monday's HR Derby at a decent price then maybe I'd consider that night too, but Saturday in Miami and then All Star Sunday is good enough for me. It's not hard to get tickets for All Star Sunday but it's a lot more difficult and pricey to get HR Derby night and that's not even high on the top of my list.
The reason I bring it up now is for whoever's interested we should reserve hotel rooms now, or at least next week right after the ASG. At least room(s) that can be cancelled with no penalty.
