Agreed. Yeah, Phil is in full Theo mode. I don't think I'm completely out of it this year and still hold out hope I can make a run to finish in the money. If not I now hold a valuable card and should be able to either Franchise or RFA Sale next year.
Prospect-wise I know I'm giving up A LOT of potential superstars here for Sale. Berrios is a #1. Hoffman could be a #1. Margot is SD's #1 kid who should see MLB action soon, and Devers. Ugh! I didn't want to part with this blue chip Red Sox prospect who I hope to see play for AA Portland soon with Moncada and Benintendi, but he was the piece that made this deal work for Phil. In return I get a true #1 MLB ace, a kid in Pujols who's been mashing in the minors, and the 2017 pick is a lottery ticket that hopefully I can cash in on.
All in all another Greene-Goyette blockbuster (those are Phil's words!). Good luck my friend.
