Are these releases or outright to minors?

I believe they are pure releases.
Let's not use the word "outright" unless we're trying to option to minors.

Jason, when releasing a player, please list how much you're responsible for. 50% of salary if it's first and only year of a contract, or 25% if player has been on your team prior to this year and it's at least the 2nd year of a multi-year contract.
If a prospect/rookie contract of $500K, same applies. 50% if first year, or 25% if 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of $500K deal.
Thanks!

I have no idea how long any of these guys have been on my team. I think Jones was acquired last year so his salary would be 25%. Garza is 50% and Hale and Romero should be 25%.
