If you have less than 35 players on your MLB roster, you need to post initial contract offers for 2 players. If you have 36 guys, you need to nominate at least one. If you have 37-39 Major Leaguers, you do not need to put anyone on the board, but you can if you want to, and you still may bid on players. Remember, all teams must come out of UFA with at least 37 players. This does leave a few spots cushion in case you want to promote any of your minor leaguers. You may promote minor leaguers to your MLB now (some teams already have), or you can wait until after UFA and promote them if you have a roster spot available.

Thanks Andrew and Henry for posting here. Everyone else, please post here when you are done with your FA offers. Remember, you need to come out of this UFA period with at least 37 players on your major league roster. Max of 40. If you have 35 and you want to promote 2 minor leaguers to get to 37 and be finished, that's your choice and would be allowed. That would mean you still have 3 open spots that would need to be filled before Opening Day on your 40-man roster. Every team must have a complete 40-man roster before Opening Day.
Please post here when you are done so I know and we can move on to allowing player releases and open up trading. Thanks!
