Joseph still has to agree on the board here. We do have an agreement via emails.
OK, I'll post here what I just told Drew. Yes he's giving up major leaguers for prospects, but there's a LOT of potential there. And as we all know in this league, everyone's analysis of prospects is probably different from from everyone else's.
Hedges is legit Top 20 overall prospect. Rua had 32 HR and 91 RBI last year. Galvez could make the Padres major league club out of Spring Training. Both Stites and Barbato are fireballin' potential future closers. Wieland is a question mark coming off TJ Surgery but was one of Texas' top pitching prospects when he and Erlin were traded to San Diego a couple years ago. Deleon is a gamble and one I took when I got him in a deal last year with Andrew. He has the potential to be very good if he can put it together in A Adv./AA. Look deeper into it and again, a lot of potential. Not this year, but maybe 2015-2017.
We've been going back and forth on this for over 2 weeks. I just agreed to take on Martinez' $12M which I didn't want to do. He has to clear cap space in order to bid on any free agents. Only had $14,750,000 to fill 11-14 spots. Now he'd have $33M+.
Go Orange!! How about that Ennis shot?
PS - By the way, I don't have to explain myself or my reasoning on this trade to the league. But in this case since Joseph's a new owner, I felt it wouldn't hurt since I am your esteemed Commish and he's trying to build a good farm system and at the same time clear cap space to be able to compete in some free agent contract offers. Joseph should be chiming in soon.

1st - i'm taking over a team with personal i do not want.. 2nd - i'm trying to clear out cap room.. 3rd - i did my research.. maybe i should of posted a note that these players are available.. (that is my fault).. i will make sure i do that for the next time.. 4th - I do have an END GAME.. 5th - and that is not going to be placing in last place..

This has been sitting here all day. Joseph and I can't modify anything on our team rosters and I can't process anything on Fantrax until another co-commish seals this deal. Thanks.

I approve.
I also don't think anyone should have to justify a trade. There have been PLENTY of deals I feel like I wish I knew that player was available, but shame on me for not asking. Most deals happen because you send a message and say I like that guy, any of my guys you like? Don't need to contact everyone else first!

Free agent bidding starts tomorrow night. Everyone needs to have their teams and salaries known and in place before that. Thanks.
