To Fill Cleveland's Void at 2B we have agreed on the following trade:
Cleveland Sends OF Odubel Herrera 17:0.5M; 18:0.5M 19: 0.5M**
O's Send Devon Travis 2B (TOR) 17:$0.5M 18:0.5M 19: 0.5M O's 6th Round Pick RFA tag on Neil Walker
This is a needs based trade for myself. I felt that I needed to add some OF's to my roster after losing Cruz. I am getting a young CF on an up and coming team who I believe fits the ROTO very nicely, he has a high average, steals bases and has some power. he had 87 Runs scored last year which I believe will only increase as the team around him gets better.
As a Jays fan it is tough to lose Devon Travis as he has an incredibly ability to hit the ball all over the ball park. However I have some serious doubts about his ability to stay on the field. Henry also sees this which is why he wanted walker as a backup for a contending team. I have Schoop at 2B who I can control for another 3 years pending a prospect tag after this year.
**Henry has pointed out that There is a typo on Hererra on his roster page. He was called up at this time last year by Texas. Can Scott or Chuck Confirm his salary is as stated above? Here is the link.

He was in Texas Giants minor leagues in 2015 and exceeded 130 AB that season. Texas promoted him for the 2016 season which was his first $500K year.
Contract was 16-19:$0.5M. Now it should be 17-19:$0.5M. It's listed correctly in the trade particulars above.

Agreed on the trade, and thanks Scott for confirming Odubel's salary
Was a bit dappy of me to miss rendon's change in eligibility (big thanks to Scott for the heads up on that one by the way!) and thankfully this sorts it out. Unfortunately Brodie wasn't sleeping on Travis though, and asked for a good price in Odubel, who really showed himself to be a multicategory contributor last season. But it is a fair price when I have the injury protection should I be able to exercise the Walker RFA option, and the draft pick. Great chatting with Brodie who was flexible and always up front with sound reasoning. Perhaps my last trade of the year, and happy to welcome Travis to my team, a guy who has intrigued me for some time!
