2) 2017 2nd round minors pick
-The reason for this trade is that I have a 2 year window to compete for a title. Longoria has been a steady player that provides good numbers every year, and I did gain a much needed 2nd round draft pick in 2017. The Colorado Rays are rebuilding at this point and 4 prospects and a potential closer is a pretty nice haul. I hope things work out for both teams. Good Luck Colorado/Rays!!!
