Well, thank you all for your support. You know I want to make everyone in this league happy and at the same time, make it work they way we want it to. I realize that a lot of these league settings were already set in Rules before many of you even joined. I set the league up with these 6x6 categories without any input, and Andrew suggested all of the batter positions and pitcher positions which I agreed to, thinking they looked good. Maybe there'll come a time when we might want to discuss changing out specific stats - but we're not going there now.
Having said all that, thanks to everyone for voting. I do like the idea of 5 SP, 3 RP, and 2 P, so let's go with that. As for Minimum IP, since 9 out of 15 of us wanted 800 or more, I think it would be best to use 850. Seems like a good compromise which should work, even though I know most of us will end up with a lot more than 850 IP anyway.

I think that is a good compromise. 850 is a good limit, and leaving the 2 flex spots maintains the strategy, but we also keep the value of the starters.

OK, it's done. Minimum team IP has been set at 850 IP. The language on Fantrax states: If a minimum has not been met by end of season: All averaged hitting stats (e.g., Avg, Slg, etc.) or pitching stats (e.g., ERA, WHIP, etc.), depending on the scoring category whose minimum has not been met, are lost for the entire season.
I've also changed Fantrax to reflect an active roster must have 5 SP, 3 RP and 2 P.
